Meet Jade and Thor! Both of these dogs are very sweet and loving. They have over 49 champions in there pedigree. They are from the Show lines.

Dannyboy is our stud, he is trained for hunting and boy does he love to hunt!!! He is also very loving and full of energy. He was trained by a man and at first did not want to take direction from a woman. But now he will and will obey my commands. He is very intelligent! He has the hunting lines on his Dam's side and Show Lines on his Sire's side, so he has the combo look of both hunting and show with a coat that doesn't mat up! He has in 3 generations 6 mahogany and 3 red with 5 unknown coat colors.
Dannyboy's Dam is almost Solid Field Champions out of Redwing, Celtic's & Damika Kennels including a 2 time National Field Champion Dannyboy's G Grandfather "Come Back Fire Boy" (who is still winning), and a Field Champion that is in the Hall of Fame, "Clancy O'Ryan". Dannyboy's Sire is Show Lines (line bred) in the McCamon Marquis and Brenkerri and Irish Setters out of Canada too. Our 2nd Dam Kadie also has the Marquis lines.

Dannyboy has been tested for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) and is "Clear"
The Irish Setter Progressive retinal atrophy is an inherited disease that leads to blindness in affected dogs. Caused by the lack of a protein. Dogs can be Clear - non carrier, a carrier- does not show it but can pass it on, or have it.
Kadie's field lines come from an import from England, "Paddington Tallboy" who is out of the Wendover Kennels, which is a well known hunting kennel in England. He was bred to "Birdy Redwing" Kadie's show lines go back to the Champion McCamon Marquis, Champion Meadowlarke and Champion Trivolda, these lines have some strong line breeding. On Kadie's first 3 generations back, shows no champions, but all were used in the field for hunting and considered good gun dogs by their owners. As often happens, the best are never shown.
In Kadies 3 generations there are 10 Mahogany, 3 red, and 1 chestnut coat colors. Kadies is very loving and LOVES her babies and refuses to leave them, even when they are weaned 100% she won't leave them and loves and plays with them.
I'm hoping that with the same foundation Bench Champions that are in Kadie's and Dannyboy's lines that the genes will come through for some very fine looking pups! Possibly for great Bench / Field or very beautiful pets.
